Miller, a former newspaper reporter, is the author of the novels Brand New Human Being and The News from the End of the World. She has received fellowships from Yaddo, The MacDowell Colony and Aspen Words, among other organizations.
Sittenfeld is the New York Times best-selling author of the novels Prep, The Man of My Dreams, American Wife, Sisterland and Eligible, which have been translated into 30 languages. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times and The Atlantic, among other publications. She most recently published a book of short stories, You Think It, I’ll Say It.
