ACES and Patagonia Snowmass are thrilled to once again host the internationally acclaimed Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Friday, April 1st at 6:30PM at the Wheeler Opera House! This special evening will showcase 12 short films that both inform people about the state of the world and inspire them to take action. The all ages event will also include a cash bar, gear give-aways, and more. Proceeds from the event benefit ACES' Tomorrow's Voices program in honor of Willard Clapper and providing civics and environmental leadership education to regional high school students. The mission of the Tomorrow's Voices program is to cultivate responsible citizenship and ethical leadership in the youth of the Roaring Fork Valley. "At our festival, you’ll witness how individuals and communities across the globe are taking action and becoming part of the solution on issues ranging from energy, food systems, biodiversity, climate change and the protection and restoration of wild lands and wild waters. You’ll experience the adrenaline of kayaking the wildest rivers, climbing the highest peaks and trekking across the globe with adventure films from around the world. You’ll explore the issues and movements with leading environmental activists and professionals, filmmakers and celebrities."
