Nestled at the base of Aspen Mountain, W Aspen features year-round access to sky-high adventure.
As one of the only W alpine escapes in North America, W Aspen offers prime access to the slopes. It also happens to be one of the best après-ski hot spots in the world due to its proximity to Aspen’s famed Silver Queen Gondola, stunning 360-degree mountain views and chic vibe.

Drawing inspiration from the landscape, the architecture and sloping rooflines resemble a modern mountain chalet, and the property is just steps from high-fashion shopping in Aspen. Paying homage to the original residents of the Roaring Fork Valley for more than 800 years, the interior of the property showcases modern takes on Ute patterns. Featuring open floor plans, rustic wood finishes and platform lounge seating, rooms and suites also reflect the Ute patterns, as well as references to silver mining and furniture inspired by the decadence of the 1970s. Select rooms feature a W design first: quad-queen bunk beds, which can sleep four to eight guests.
On the second floor of the property, The Living Room features velvety bohemian-style seating, with the focal point being a suspended DJ booth reminiscent of the largest silver nugget ever discovered in Aspen. Outside, the WET Deck is Aspen’s only year-round, all-weather public rooftop, where there’s a heated pool and hot tub, plus a full bar, restaurant and fire pits. The indoor-outdoor 39 Degrees restaurant serves up globally inspired après eats like jumbo Bavarian pretzels and poutine-smothered fries, plus new craft cocktails like the Miner’s Flask, a blend of Woodinville Port cask-aged bourbon, Aperol and grapefruit essence.

From now through the spring, the hotel’s stunning private ice caves will be part of Select Slopeside, an exclusive pop-up with Select Aperitivo, creator of the original Venetian spritz. Every weekend during prime après-ski hours, specially priced Select spritzes will be served fireside, set against a stylized backdrop inspired by Slim Aarons.
When you’re ready to hit the town to visit art galleries, museums or experience a little retail therapy, the resort can arrange a BMW X7, which is included in your stay. And, of course, there’s a wealth of outdoor adventure experiences available at every turn, so plan some time to take it all in. 550 S. Spring St., Aspen
