From Dec. 20 to 31, downtown Aspen is transformed into a winter wonderland with everything from ice skating and carriage rides to concerts and carolers. Santa will also join the festivities. The weeklong celebration concludes with a fireworks extravaganza over Aspen Mountain. 970.925.1940

Holiday Open House at Anderson Ranch
Anderson Ranch hosts a winter open house celebrating the holiday season. Artists-in-residence and staff will sell artwork directly from their studios. Enjoy art activities for children in Schermer Meeting Hall, s’mores around the bonfire and holiday dinner at 7pm in the Ranch Cafe. Shop for unique gifts in the ArtWorks Store. Aspen Film Academy Screenings
Open to the general public, this renowned film series highlights 20 films actively campaigning for Academy Award consideration. Last year’s screenings included subsequent 2015 Oscar winners Spotlight, Bridge of Spies, Amy, The Danish Girl, The Revenant and Room. SoulCycle and Smartwater will launch Destination SOUL, a 12-day one-of-a-kind SoulCycle pop-up experience in Aspen this holiday season.
