The Snow Lodge transforms into The Summer Lodge for the season.
Brunch spread at The Summer Lodge
The brainchild of Montauk’s Surf Lodge founder and creative director, Jayma Cardoso, in collaboration with Stephane De Baets of Elevated Returns and Chefs Club, The Snow Lodge has been a huge hit during the winter season at The St. Regis Aspen Resort. Cardoso dishes on why summer is the perfect time to continue the fun and festivities at what’s now debuting as The Summer Lodge.
What made you decide to keep the fun going all year? Summers in Aspen are so beautiful, we want everyone to know winter may be over, but the festivities have just begun. The St. Regis is such a great partner, I knew we could do something special and magnify how magical mountain towns are during the summertime. Also, I’ve fallen in love with Aspen. Winter is just one season; it’s time for summer to shine.

What does the lineup look like this season at The Summer Lodge? A wonderful mixture of music, art and our wellness series. I’m particularly excited about this summer’s concert series lineup, which we’ll announce throughout the season and will include Mojave Grey, Shallou and Poolside. As well, there are always a few surprise performances. You never know who might show up!
What will you find at The Summer Lodge and nowhere else? We will have some amazing art installations that I’m really excited about. In particular, Agnieszka Pilat’s futuristic vision and exhibition will be something to behold. Also, nobody throws a midsummer party like we do—it’s not to be missed.

What’s on the menu? Brunch, my favorite meal to host and delight guests with, is coming to our garden-fresh courtyard on Saturday and Sunday! We’re taking the classic brunch spread, but elevating it with our twists courtesy of chef Robert Sieber. We’ll have everything from an omelet bar, freshly baked pastries, an assortment of salads, grains, smoked fish, local meats, cheeses and a beautiful raw bar on custom-carved ice displays.
Tell us more about your wellness series. We do an incredible wellness series at The Surf Lodge in Montauk, and we decided it’s time to bring some of the most exciting classes and hottest instructors to our majestic mountain setting. We’ll have Stephen Cheuk of S10, Nina Agdal of The Agdal Method, Sarrah Strimel of Damn Good Yoga and many more. Classes will be held at St. Regis’ main courtyard on Saturday and Sunday. They are free of charge for hotel guests and Aspen community members. Come for class and stay for brunch—after all, you’ve earned it!
The summer menu will feature new items for the season.
