The Now at the Aspen Art Museum

THE PARTY Some 250 art lovers flowed into the Aspen Art Museum to attend the annual winter benefit, The Now. Guests enjoyed cocktails and caviar while perusing the silent auction, which featured an 18K yellow-gold version of Lorainne Schwartz's signature 2B Happy Bracelet valued at $20,000 and an array of exclusive handbags. A live auction included a luxurious three-night stay at the world-famous Waldorf Astoria, Chicago, with a Ferrari awaiting curbside. A fashion show by famed international designer Dennis Basso captivated onlookers. THE GUESTS Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and first lady Robin Pringle Hickenlooper, Marianne Boesky, Domenico and Eleanore De Sole, Richard Edwards, Kitzia and Richard Goodman, Karin Luter, Nicola and Jeff Marcus, Nancy and Bob Magoon, Larry and Susan Marx, John and Amy Phelan, and Katie and Amnon Rodan THE HIGHLIGHTS The evening kicked off with drinks and light bites, with music by DJ Dylan. Guests were then seated for an elegant dinner, followed by a live auction that raised over $550,000, with proceeds benefitting the AAM's educational and curatorial programming. To cap the evening, three-time Grammy Award winners The Flaming Lips bedazzled the rooftop stage. The event was made possible by Basso, Sotheby's, Aspen Magazine and Schwartz.
