Live music and springtime in the mountains go together like skiing and après. In collaboration with renowned live music venue, Belly Up Aspen, The Après is a brand new three-day music and mountain festival held during Buttermilk's closing weekend. The festival will kick off with Umphrey’s McGee on Friday followed by back-to-back nights of jamming with The String Cheese Incident, and will also include performances from special guests Moon Taxi, The Main Squeeze, Southern Avenue and ALO. Take to the slopes Saturday and Sunday to catch Après on the mountain with sets by Chain Station, Jon Cumming and Bunch of Strangers, Meadow Mountai and The Sweet Lillies. Après on the mountain will take place at Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk from 12-2 PM before the festival kicks off at Buttermilk. Gates open 4 PM, single-day tickets from $50, three-day passes from $120, aspensnowmass.com
