This hidden sushi omakase pop-up at Hotel Jerome is back for winter 2025.
Returning to Bad Harriet at Hotel Jerome this winter, Taikun Sushi has earned its reputation through freshness, creativity and honed skill. Under the guide of New York City’s chef Kei Yoshino, Taikun x Bad Harriet offers an intimate omakase dining experience this season. Starting December 18, Bad Harriet’s moody atmosphere is a perfect backdrop for fresh ingredients from premier international markets, including Tokyo’s renowned Toyosu Fish Market.
With just three nightly seatings, a select few guests are guided through a specially curated menu. Diners can expect fresh fish and direct interaction with the chef, observing his skilled execution of each unique course.
For those seeking to elevate their experience, the curated sake from Hotel Jerome’s private cellar provides an exceptional complement to the chef’s creations. Taikun sets the standard for unique dining offerings in Aspen at $225 per person for the omakase experience, with the option to add a sake pairing for an additional $225.
As winter unfolds, the return of Taikun adds to Bad Harriet’s already incredible atmosphere. With just twelve seats and three nightly seatings Wednesday through Sunday, the experience fosters the kind of intimacy that makes the experience truly memorable. Diners who eat at Yoshino’s counter will understand why some of Aspen’s most exciting moments this season won’t require ski boots.
