Mark your calendars—festival season is here! Snowmass Village takes the summer to new heights with an impressive lineup of the best music and art events in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Snowmass Free Concert Series
Snowmass Free Concert Series: 30 Years of Music
“Snowmass is so well known for our summer music scene and we can’t wait to welcome guests, new and old, to Fanny Hill this summer to celebrate this milestone with us,” says Rose Abello, tourism director at Snowmass Tourism. Celebrating 30 years of music, the concert series will highlight bands both new and old, including a variety of musical genres from pop and country to rock ’n’ roll. Kicking off the summer with a special 30th anniversary celebration, don’t miss out on Hot Buttered Rum’s series opener—an iconic performance complete with exclusive commemorative concert giveaways. Other returning acts this summer include the Freddy Jones Band and Hazel Miller, as well as some new tunes from MarchFourth, Spazmatics and The Altons. Introducing the first-ever Latin night to summer ’22, Snowmass is excited to welcome all Latin music lovers and community members for a concert by Los Mocochetes. Plein Air Art Festival
New to summer ’22 is Snowmass’ first-ever Plein Air Art Festival. This August, Snowmass Base Village will welcome over 20 Colorado artists to paint Snowmass’ iconic surrounding landscapes. From Aug. 13 to 14, visitors and locals are welcome to join the festival fun by viewing the artists’ works and purchase one-of-a-kind paintings. “We are excited to host the first Plein Air Art Festival in Snowmass this summer,” says Julie Hardman of Snowmass Tourism. “The opportunity to watch these artists paint around Snowmass, then to buy their work at the end of the week, is a special and unique experience.” Aug. 13-14, 120 Carriage Way, Snowmass Village
Snowmass Rendezvous
Join the Snowmass Rendezvous for a fun-filled day of festivities, live music and boozy beverages. Tickets to the two-day Rendezvous include a multiple-venue experience, wine, beer, cider and spirit tastings, games and good tunes. For the first time, the valley will welcome outdoor brands and craft retailers to demo their products and put them up for purchase—a perfect “shopportunity.” Experience the extravaganza, explore Snowmass and end your adventure on Fanny Hill with a concert by Two Parts.
