Our Town's Favorite Party

Everyone loves Aspen Magazine’s annual Summer Food & Wine Issue launch party, also dubbed the town’s unofficial kickoff to the Food & Wine Classic. Hosted by our Editor-in-Chief Janet O’Grady, the party was held in partnership with The Little Nell. Guests spilled out from its Terrace Bar onto the outdoor poolside patio. Guests included Aspen’s A-list, and friends of the magazine from Food & Wine magazine, plus celebrity chefs and well-known vintners. Chef Robert McCormick served up dishes like braised rabbit terrine and wagyu steak tartare. Guests tasted a selection of wines from our sponsor New Wines of Greece, orange cocktails provided by Hendrick’s Gin and Mercadito cocktails provided by Milagro Tequila, and beer provided by Trumer Pils.
