Founded in Steamboat Springs, Colo. in 2018, Dano’s Tequila stands out with its line of ultra-premium, 100% highland blue agave tequilas—each of which is handcrafted with zero additives.
The Dano’s portfolio features four award-winning expressions, including the signature Pineapple & Jalapeño infusion as well as Blanco, Reposado and Añejo aged in virgin white oak barrels.
Dano’s is produced in the second oldest tequila distillery in the world, Hacienda De Reyes, a fourth-generation, female-owned distillery in the historic town of Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. The Hacienda has been dedicated to producing tequila in the traditional and authentic way, using the same methods that have been in place since its founding in 1840. Dano’s is handcrafted in small batches and made with meticulous care using 8-year-old highlands blue Weber agave, brix tested for sweetness, roasted in 180-year-old hornos (traditional stone ovens) and distilled two times in old handcrafted copper pot stills. Dano’s is truly a labor of love, each step of the way.
Unlike other distilleries that age their tequila in previously used whiskey barrels, the Hacienda uses 100% new virgin white oak barrels charred to level four (handcrafting and charring these barrels is an art form in itself) to age Dano’s Reposado for 9 months and Dano’s Añejo for 18 months. This dedication to time-honored traditions makes Dano’s Tequila the cleanest and one of the most authentic tequilas on the market.
