For Aspen Santa Fe Ballet audiences, Nicolo Fonte is a familiar name. The choreographer has been commissioned by ASFB eight times, so it’s only fitting that the company will use one of its most trusted collaborators again to premiere a new act: a feature-length ballet. Dancers, along with guest septuagenarians Hilary Cartwright and Gregg Bielemeier, will present Beautiful Decay, which Fonte debuted with Philadelphia’s BalletX in 2013. Set to Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and Max Richter’s recomposition of the same, the evening-length ballet compares aging and athleticism in a daring way and an entirely new format for local audiences. 8pm, July 9 and 19 and Aug. 24, tickets from $36, Aspen District Theatre
