The Marshall Direct Fund, a local nonprofit organization that invests in education and vocational traning for women and children in Pakistan, had its annual Aspen Reception July 1 at the home of Terri and Tony Caine. The special speaker was Dalia Mogahed, the co-author of Who Speaks for Islam?: What a Billion Muslims Really Think. Mogahed is also the director of research at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding in Washington D.C.
Guests enjoyed a lovely summer evening on the Caines spacious back lawn while snacking on apps from European Catering.
