If we’re talking watches, DJ Khaled just bought “another one.”
The hit-making record producer just nabbed the Jacob & Co. Billionaire III limited edition tourbillon watch for $3 Million, reminding everyone that all he does is win.
“Everytime I work on a new album, I make sure I buy us all new watches,” DJ Khaled writes in a recent Instagram caption. “So I bought the biggest timepiece ever to remind us, it’s always our time. We gotta go hard.”

This piece is elegant for many reasons—the most obvious being its brilliant band made from 260-carat Emerald-Cut diamonds—but it’s extra noteworthy, specifically designed to keep the most accurate time possible while maintaining a bare-bones appearance. The watch contains no dials. Instead, sapphire crystals float over exposed mechanics, showcasing the details of time’s passage with sophisticated shine.

DJ Khaled’s newest collection piece is also the latest edition of this style from Jacob & Co. The diamonds in this specific watch are set horizontally, differing from the industry-standard vertical placement, which adds a unique style. Each of the stones are set by hand, placed among the 18k white gold band to catch light and reflections.
All in all, the Billionaire III features 504 emerald-cut white diamonds. The case for the watch component itself consists of 75 white diamonds and an inner ring set with 76 white diamonds. The crown features one rose-cut white diamond, with the bridges surrounding the hands encrusted with 57 more white diamonds.
Khaled’s watch is styled to encapsulate the inner components, including the balance wheel, hairspring, escape wheel and other parts. A fine-tuning process allows the watch to keep accurate time through an extended, 72-hour power reserve.
The Billionaire piece was originally introduced in 2015 for customers looking for a piece that shines and sets a completely different silhouette than the rest. Khaled’s productions always stand above the crowd, as star-studded as his new timepiece. It’s only fitting he and his team should have a watch as chart-topping as they are.
