THE PARTY Two local companies toasted to their new co-habitation at 301 E. Hopkins Ave. at a grand opening celebration Feb. 12: interior design firm Laura U (which also has a presence in Houston) and architecture firm Land + Shelter.

THE SCENE
The contemporary second-floor space was packed with friends and clients. Wine and bubbly were provided by Sopris Liquor, while servers from Bravo Catering passed smoked salmon canapés and chicken satay. Paintings from the Quintenz Gallery hung from the walls, with a portion of sales benefiting the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies. –Photos by Jordan Curet
