What if you could channel the essence of nightlife into your day job? The lights, the social connection and the party people incorporated into your nine to five? Maybe you can!
Proper Twelve Co.—the whiskey brand founded by Irish MMA superstar Conor McGregor—is looking for a “Professional Partier” to join the team full time.
If you’d classify yourself as a risk-taker, innovator or hustler, this position may be your calling.
“I’m looking for someone to roll up their sleeves and work harder than ever,” McGregor says in a press release. “I started from nothing and am now the CEO of the fastest-growing Irish whiskey brand in America. Think you have what it takes to work for Proper No. Twelve? Apply for a ‘proper’ job as a Professional Partier and come work for me.”
The brand is looking for an individual to be responsible for promoting the brand name through fight night viewing parties, new cocktail inventions, social media marketing and bar events.
Prospective hires would be expected to help promote the brand through social media campaigns and projects. The only fine print is that you must be 21 or older, possess strong communication and managerial skills, and have some experience in marketing and sales in order to apply.
As is to be expected, the application process isn't the typical uploaded resume and questionnaire.
In addition to the application form, applicants are asked to submit a video of themselves living the “proper” lifestyle, a play on the brand's name, then upload the video to socials with the hashtag #getaproperjob.
It’s not just up to the recruitment team to decide who gets the job, either. Your friends, family and anyone you know have the power to vote for you, aka the best candidate. Their votes on the website can give you an extra boost toward becoming the brand’s first official Professional Partier.
Once the new hires have been selected, they’ll get the chance to visit Ireland and party with Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey to see where and how the product is made.
Position applications are open now through Wednesday, Oct. 19. Find full application details at workforconormcgregor.com.
