This summer and fall season, Dr. Barbara Sturm brings skincare science to new heights at 7,908 feet of elevation. In partnership with The Little Nell, the STURM residency provides unique products and custom treatments supporting the philosophy of healing the skin. Occupying a private guest room at The Little Nell, the residency has reconfigured the space to mimic the intimacy and specificity of a full-service, deluxe spa. A curated selection of STURM’s skincare essentials are also available for purchase at The Little Nell Boutique.
While Dr. Sturm’s skincare regimens and overall goals are simple, her products are backed by a complex history of testing and intensive research. These products are also a physical manifestation of her holistic outlook, helping to educate the public about the importance of simplistic ingredients and an anti-inflammatory lifestyle. No matter what skin type or lifestyle patients experience, the residency offers a wide variety of cutting-edge treatments suitable to address all skin concerns. Patients with dry skin can enjoy a super anti-aging facial repairing the skin’s moisture barrier, while those with oily skin can enjoy a signature STURMglow facial with a main focus of exfoliation. Those with sore muscles from hiking the surrounding mountains can enjoy a revitalizing full-body massage.
This collaboration not only serves the Aspen community and its visitors, but also reflects the underlying passions of the founder. “The Little Nell is such a beautiful hotel destination for STURM and I'm so excited to introduce our high-performance facials and body treatments and to spread the STURMGLOW with our Aspen clientele,” said Dr. Barbara Sturm. “I love to be surrounded by the mountains and Aspen is a favorite vacation place of mine for sports, hiking, and spending time in nature.”
The management and staff of The Little Nell welcome the residency with open arms. “We are thrilled to partner with Dr. Barbara Sturm to offer a curated selection of her high-performance, rejuvenating facial and body treatments to our discerning guests,” said Henning Rahm, General Manager of The Little Nell. “This pop-up will also serve as a sampling of what is to come with our forthcoming, reimagined spa facility.” The residency will operate through mid-October, with services and products available to hotel guests as well as the general public, and then will be a part of the new Spa at The Little Nell, which opens in late November.
