The Aspen club scene got a whole lot hotter over the spring skiing season. ASPENX opened a one-of-a-kind slopeside beach club known as Snow Beach—a collaboration between Aspen Skiing Company, artist Paula Crown and art photographer Gray Malin. The club was meticulously designed by Malin, who drew inspiration from the beaches of Miami to the Slim Aarons days on the Swiss Alps. Each cabana and chaise was conceptualized and designed by Gray, allowing party patrons to immerse themselves in the world of Gray Malin and ASPENX—an après-ski experience to be remembered.
The Snow Beach location featured sweeping views of Highlands, including the Highland Bowl, and the Elk Mountains. Against the backdrop of these sweeping views, DJs spun danceworthy playlists for guests to dance along to while sipping Champagne and enjoying light bites such as truffle pizza slices and housemade kettle corn. While there was no lifeguard on duty, Snow Beach guests found Instagram-worthy moments climbing the lifeguard stand and proudly snapping selfies at Aspen’s ultrachic alpine beach club. This is a concept we hope is here to stay.
