Aspen is known for many things — luxury shopping, dining, skiing and maybe most notably its après ski. This season, ASPENX partnered with fine art photographer Gray Malin to bring a one-of-a-kind pop-up experience, Snow Beach, to the mountain for the first time ever.
The town’s iconic luxury property, The Little Nell, brought this pop-up to life to mark the mountain’s 75th anniversary season with beach-themed décor in an alpine setting. Expect bottle service and multi-course food pairings, while immersing yourself in a Gray Malin photograph. Book private cabanas (starting at $740 for two people) or lounge on beach chairs and enjoy live DJs and après ski festivities on the snow.
But the party doesn’t exactly stop at the end of the month as initially announced. The ASPENX x Gray Malin pop-up will close for two weeks but then reopen for the Snow Beach Bash weekend, April 15 through April 17. The last hurray will feature first come, first serve entrance with a la carte ordering (no cover charge or reservations needed). Plus, proceeds will benefit YouthEntity, a local non-profit in the Roaring Fork Valley.
If a quieter vibe is more your scene, check out The Wine Bar at The Nell, The Board Room speakeasy and The Wine Cellar (with 20,000-bottles) are all go-to spots for wine tasting through the end of the season, April 17.
Pair the fine dining with shopping at Chanel’s new Aspen pop-up. The boutique features Chanel’s Cruise 2021/22 and the Coco Neige collection of Chanel snow accessories and a second floor showcasing fine jewelry and watches. The ephemeral space will remain open through April.
Plus, due to prime spring conditions with a recent abundance of snow and cold temperatures, Aspen Mountain is extending the season through Sunday, August 24.
