Four local sommeliers give us the lowdown on the outstanding local selections—all for spring in Aspen.

CHRIS DUNAWAY
Favorite: 2019 Domaine
Tempier, Bandol Rosé
Why he loves it: Springtime is for après, and rosé is flying in March and April. Best to drink the best, and for me this is right at the top.

JILL CARNEVALE
Favorite: 2018 Punta Crena Vigneto “Isasco” Vermentino, Liguria, Italy
Why she loves it: A trip to the Mediterranean in a glass. Salty minerality, ripe citrusy fruits. Great wine to help defrost from winter and welcome back sunnier, warmer days.

STEVE HUMBLE
Favorite: 2018 Thomas Pico “Pattes Loup” Chablis, Burgundy, France Why he loves it: Intense mineral- driven chardonnay from the cool climate of Chablis. Thomas Pico
is on his way to becoming a global superstar. Great wine to celebrate the upcoming summer months.

OLIVER JADERKO
Favorite: Ruinart Blanc de Blancs NV
Why he loves it: Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s party.’ Bubbles make your palate happy, and this pairs with caviar and oysters like no other wine.
