Engaged in Aspen, married in Aspen–Denver-based newlyweds tied the knot with mountain views and vows so dear.
ALEXA AND DAN sipped to success after being introduced by mutual friends at a wine tour party. Dan immediately swept Alexa off her feet, at last proposing on Aspen Highlands with Marroon Bells as the backdrop. Immediately toasting to their engagement at Cloud 9 with Alexa’s family, the couple knew that Aspen would be the perfect setting to wed.

Unforeseen weather conditions posed a challenge for the fate of Alexa and Dan’s wedding. Just before the bride and her mother arrived at the gondola station, rides to the venue were halted due to snow, rain and intense winds. Resuming after calmer conditions, guests were instantly captivated by the AspenX Mountain Club’s breathtaking views and an abundance of detail–Mountain Flowers of Aspen’s stunning white arrangements and gold accents made this a happily ever after.

Defying traditional wedding protocol, this ceremony was the ultimate family affair. Alexa’s brother was the officiant, surrounded on stage by Dan’s sister and other family members. Hot off the heels of a perfect wedding, the couple traveled south for an unforgettable honeymoon at Amara Resort & Spa in Sedona, Arizona.
