Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Winter Season

| November 16, 2018 | Calendar

The globe-trotting ballet company launches its winter season with the classic The Nutcracker, performed by some of its own dancers, as well as authentic Russian and Chinese folk dancers and an aerialist. Laugh a little with the all-male company Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo’s witty parodies of classics like Swan Lake (Jan. 19), hilariously portrayed without compromising pointe work and stage sensibilities. Indulge in a season finale of audience favorites (Feb. 16), such as Jorma Elo’s 1st Flash and Alexander Ekman’s jazz-inspired Tuplet. Showtimes vary, $35-$94,
