Aspen's culinary landscape gets even sweeter this October as Aspen Meadows Resort, Hotel Jerome, and The Little Nell join forces to present the inaugural Aspen Pastry Invitational. From October 17-19, Aspen will transform into a haven for pastry enthusiasts.
The brainchild of Hotel Jerome’s pastry chef, Ben Kunert, this three-day event brings together six renowned pastry chefs, offering a sweet mix of workshops and social gatherings. Participants can perfect their éclair-making skills with Latin America’s Best Pastry chef, Sofia Cortina. They can explore Mexican chocolate with world-renowned chocolatier Luis Robledo or dive into healthy pastry alternatives with The Little Nell’s Barbara Marcos.
Both amateur bakers and professionals alike can indulge in this celebration of culinary excellence. “We see this inaugural event as a way for dabblers and professionals alike to refine their skills and, most importantly, enjoy their creations,” explains Hotel Jerome general manager Patrick Davila. With events including everything from French patisserie masterclasses to family-friendly cake-decorating workshops, there truly is something for everyone.
