Renowned for its winters, the holiday season in Aspen is an unparalleled experience. Hotels and restaurants ensure the magic all month long with festive dining opportunities for each of December’s biggest moments. Read on for where to dine for Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s Eve in Aspen.

Hotel Jerome relishes in the yuletide spirit nearly all month long. From Dec. 13 to 30, the Auberge Resorts Collection hotel will present a can’t-miss lineup of festive programming, which includes holiday cabaret, the Max Mara pop-up, kids arts and crafts, letters to Santa and More. It goes big on Dec. 24 with dinner at Prospect. With seatings taking place at 5 and 8 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy a special chef’s menu featuring Colorado-inspired cuisine fueled by local flavors and seasonal ingredients. Then, on Dec. 25, Hotel Jerome will hold Christmas Day feasts in the grand ballroom where diners are surrounded by snowy mountain views. Seatings are available at 12:30, 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. Last but not least, 2024 will close out with a New Year’s Eve dinner at 7:30 p.m. at Prospect.

Aspen’s favorite post-slopes spot, Ajax Tavern, will delight on both Dec. 24 and 25 with an Italian family-style meal of decadent shared plates like wagyu carpaccio, risotto, funghi trifolati and limoncello ricotta cake. Meanwhile, those seeking a luxury experience can head to Element 47 for a festive four-course menu where options will include seared foi gras, wagyu beef, braised lion’s mane mushroom, pasta and a variety of desserts. Both of The Little Nell’s establishments will also ensure you enter 2025 with memorable New Year’s Eve meals. Ajax Tavern will have seatings at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. for a family-style culinary adventure, while Element 47 will host an opulent dinner of seafood towers, curated wine selections, wagyu steak and more.

On Dec. 13, Parc Aspen will reopen for the season with an alluring winter menu and a best-in-class chef’s tasting menu. To make December offerings even more exceptional, the fine dining establishment will host a special Christmas Eve and Day pre-fixe featuring dishes like beef Wellington, Dover sole and pierogies. Then, Parc Aspen will ring in the New Year with an elegant six-course tasting menu experience on Dec. 31. There will be seatings at 6:15 and 8:45 p.m., which is reserved for guests aged 21 and up. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress. Finally, for Hanukkah, the holiday will be commemorated with a lineup of specials (matzo ball soup, homemade challah, crisped potato latke, more) on Jan. 2, 2025.

For Christmas Eve, The St. Regis will bring warm tidings with a brunch feast with live stations and breakfast classics from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Later in the evening, Velvet Buck will hold Christmas Eve dinner at 5 and 7:30 p.m. For New Year’s Eve, the signature restaurant will also hold a six-course dinner with live entertainment and optional wine pairing. Seatings will take place at 6 and 8 p.m.
