The seventh annual benefit, formerly called Light It Up Blue Aspen, raises awareness and funds for the Carbondale-based nonprofit Ascendigo Autism Services. The main event will take place at the Belly Up Aspen on Saturday, Feb. 17, and include dinner and drinks for VIP guests, a live auction and concert by Vintage Trouble. All proceeds benefit the program’s efforts to ensure that both youth and adults on the autism spectrum have the opportunities to enhance their health, personal growth and social engagement. Earlier in the day, Ascendigo will host its annual Vertical Blue Awareness Day at Aspen Highlands. VIP ticket holders will also enjoy a special reception at a private residence in Aspen on Friday, Feb. 16. 7pm, general admission $75, VIP tickets $300-$500, VIP tables $4,000-$5,000, ascendigo.org
