Imagine getting engaged in front of Adele, a live audience and millions of TV viewers. Now imagine you do all that and get a free custom wedding dress from Justin Alexander.
That’s the stuff of fantasy, the kind of magic that happens in Hollywood rom-coms, but for Ashleigh Mann and Quentin Brunson—aka the couple whose proposal was aired on the CBS special Adele One Night Only—that’s real life.
Since 1946, Justin Alexander has delivered vintage-inspired contemporary designs to fit every style of bride. Now, Alexander lead designer and CEO Justin Warshaw will work closely with Mann and Brunson to design a complimentary wedding dress for the couple’s special day.

Mann and Brunson first met in 2012 but did not become official until two and a half years later. All in all, they had been dating for seven years when Brunson came across a social media post offering an opportunity to propose in an epic and secret way.
After Zoom calls with producers of the Adele One Night Only show, Brunson was chosen for the big moment. All he knew was that these producers would provide a proposal setting. He didn’t know he’d pop the question in front of Adele and a worldwide audience under the stars at Los Angeles’ Griffith Observatory!
The crowd was completely silent and the lights were all turned down while Brunson led a blindfolded Mann to the center of the aisle. When she took off the blindfold, Mann was adorably shocked.
After the proposal got a yes, Adele came out to congratulate the couple, who then sat front row between Lizzo and Melissa McCarthy. The couple were handed champagne glass as Adele serenaded them with “Make You Feel My Love.”
The couple is arranged to get married in September 2022, and Mann’s appointment for designing the dress is set for January 2022.
Adele One Night Only took place on Nov. 14, 2021. Selena Gomez, Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake, Dua Lipa, Gordon Ramsey and Seth Rogen are only a few faces in attendance at the show.
The concert featured classic hits such as “Hello,” “Skyfall,” “Someone Like You” and “Rolling in the Deep,” as well as three songs from her new album; “I Drink Wine,” “Hold On” and “Love is a Game.”
Her album 30 was released five days after the show, reaching the top of the charts in 19 countries. Lead single “Easy On Me” was an instant global smash, hitting No. 1 in 26 countries.
Congrats to the happy couple. Watch the spectacular proposal below.
