Aspen's newest property, the W Hotel, opened with a rooftop party. At the opening, developers cut ski-uphilling skins instead of a ribbon—a touch representative of the nuanced hotel. Hundreds came out to toast the anticipated debut, clinking frosé and margaritas in the sunny rooftop pool area. Years in the making, the W Hotel was greeted with widespread support and smiles from the community.
