From staples like the Aspen Music Festival to Jas Cafe and Bluegrass Sundays, there’s plenty of talent to enjoy. Here’s how to experience live music in the perfect settings through September.
Aspen Music Festival & School
The AMF remains one of the most esteemed classical music festivals in the United States. Savor an awe-inspiring symphony from Harris Hall, or spend your Saturday afternoon enjoying a performance by the music school students while taking in the 360-degree views from the top of Ajax. Belly Up
The lineup at Belly Up this summer has something for everyone and will surely prove worth the wait. Headliners include big names, such as Goldfish (July 15), LeAnn Rimes (July 24), The Beach Boys (Aug. 3), Black Pumas (Aug. 15), Keb’ Mo’ (Aug. 25), Spoon (Sept. 4 and 5) and many more. Snowmass Free Concert Series
The Snowmass Concert Series is a cherished 28-year-old tradition that will run this year through the end of August. Fanny Hill is the perfect location to relax, have a drink and enjoy great music with a picturesque sunset backdrop. Bluegrass Sundays
Through the end of September, bluegrass musicians will host open-air concerts at the top of Aspen Mountain on Sunday afternoons. Conveniently located right outside the Sundeck, where patrons can pop inside for a bite or a cocktail, this series is a town favorite and the perfect way to unwind from a busy week.
