THE PARTY Aspen Magazine partnered with Bandana Aspen, East West Partners, Engel & Völkers, Lamborghini, Local Coffee House and Roger DuBuis to host its annual kickoff for the Food & Wine Classic, held at the Snowmass Club. Hundreds came out to enjoy food, wine and cocktails provided by local small businesses and entrepreneurs. Guests sipped, savored and swayed to the music of DJ Naka G while taking in the scenic views—and staving off the thunderstorms. THE PEOPLE Barbi Benton and Canadian former hockey player Marty Pavelich were in attendance. THE HIGHLIGHTS Guests each took their turn posing for photos behind the wheel of a signature cherry red Lamborghini Aventador. The only sight more notable than the luxury sports car was that of the snowcapped peak of Mount Daly, a stunning backdrop for an equally perfect evening.
