The Buddy Program celebrated its 20th annual Bash for the Buddies fundraising event by channeling the spirit of anicent Egypt. For more than 45 years the Buddy Program has been empowering youth to achieve their full potential, and this Egyptian-themed night was a full celebration for the kids. Guests were welcomed with a glass of Champagne from a Cleopatra look-alike. In an open meadow on Gail and Lenny "Boogie" Weinglass' Merry-Go-Round Ranch, they took in the views of the Elk Mountain range. After the Tase of Aspen and a silent auction, gold-donnned guests made their way to their dinner tables and settled in for a spirited live acution. After dinner, dancing shoes his the floor to groove the night away to live music from the mysterious and entertaining Here Come the Mummies. The nonprofit, which runs programs for over 500 youth and 11 schools, raised over $900,000.
